Property for rent doesn't simply appeal to tenants who may be waiting or hoping to get onto the property ladder, but also offers flexibility for those downsizing or moving into a new area. It isn't uncommon for us to arrange viewings for rental properties for potential tenants that include everyone from young singles moving into their own place for the first time to mature couples who are downsizing.
The only way to really get a feel for the kind of property you might rent is to arrange some viewings. Viewings will be arranged at times to suit you and our clients or existing tenants.
We appreciate the difficulties of searching for that special place to live and here at Shooter Property Services we have properties ranging from studio flats to large detached houses, so we're confident we'll have something to suit you.
Please register on our website, or in branch, for instant email alerts. This will ensure you don't miss out on new instructions.
Join our mailing listMake sure to take your list of criteria with you on the viewings to ensure the property is a good match. It is also a good idea to make a list of questions to ask and here are some important ones:
Make sure you budget for your new property as you will have a few significant outgoings when you first set up a new tenancy including fees, rent, deposit and other outlays.
Step One
When you find a property that you are interested in, complete the tenancy appplication with the branch looking after the property. The 'Letting Team' will guide you through this process and confirm what information and documentation they will need from you.
Step Two
If the application is successful you will then need to pay your deposit immediately and the first month's rent on commencement of the tenancy.
Step Three
Other initial outgoings might include the purchase of furniture if you rent an unfurnished or part furnished property. You may also want to organise Contents Insurance. Then once you have moved in, you will have ongoing costs of your monthly rental payments, utilities including gas, electricity, phone bills, broadband and line rental to name a few.
Step Four
Take all of these costs into account and you will fully enjoy the experience of renting your new home.
Finally, next time you are in one of our branches please ask for a copy of our Tenants Information Guide which will give a lot more of detailed and useful information as well as important tips to help you from your initial search, moving into a property through to the moving out at the tenancy end.
